can someone recommend some good stash jars?

I skimmed through this thread, so hopefully this isn't all been said a few posts back. I do a long term storage routine. Oxygen is what degrades the organic matter. High moisture and UV obviously creates issues also. Once the moisture level drops below 55-60% I seal the material in mason jars...

I've gone through a couple dozen cans of Vector and just had my first dud. Exactly as grey describes. So it's not unheard of I guess. I wish there was a better way to load these things in general. I get butane on my hands every time I load.

Wow what a flurry on this thread. :uhoh: I think the answers have been covered by others on this forum. Your unit is gummed up from poor butane. No mystery. The culprit is the dealer that sold it to you. That's who you have a sales contract with. I'd march it back and demand a new one or a...

lwien, I agree 100%. I have placed herb in it, and as such it cannot be returned per the dealer. I'm not all that concerned, really. I should have checked this out prior to purchase. The bad reviews were out there. I'd pay good money for a battery powered US made portable vape. I'm sick of China.

Just an update. I unboxed my NO2 and turned it on again for an hour. Still smells as bad as ever. I am so sorry that I ever inhaled with this unit. This has been weeks now. Probably 20 hours of combined burn-ins.

I agree with what you say Max. I will state this very clearly. There is NO WAY anyone would miss the smell of an infected NO2. No way. It made me nauseus, caused my co-workers to ask what was burning when I was burning this in, etc. This is NOT a matter of me having sensitive taste buds. I think...

lwien, I hear you man. Again, people will see this unit for what it is.

Supra, I have not tried the mouthpiece trick yet but am optimistic. If the heat source were larger and the unit more insulated, then the oven analogy would be more appropriate, I think. Nut the heating element is about maxed out and the unit is poorly insulated. But it normally does not need to...

I LOVE this pic. Why oh why don't we see more campaign pics and media images of affluent people, educated people etc supporting weed? It seems like the pics are always of people you would not want over for dinner, and people associate weed with creepy people.

I think gray is right on target. I cannot see how that opt. could possibly heat up as much as the unit itself. Simply much much more surface area to try and heat up as well as dissipate low level heat. This isn't an efficiently insulated unit here. The unit itself dissipates heat rapidly. I...

That's not a bad idea at all! I think I'll give that a whirl. Thanks for the thinking cap!

I know exactly what you mean. I used to use 6" of hose, but it was less stealthy than I wanted. Now I have a technique to allow some outside air to inhale as I'm pulling from the iolite. Sort of pull-breathe-pull-breathe as I inhale. Works "OK" but not as good as with the hose.

I could not agree more. I vape for health and this NO2 is in direct conflict with that goal. There will always be manufacturer shills coming and going anywhere on the internet. If an interested newb reads even a small fraction of this thread they will see this unit for what it is.

Thanks greyS. That prety much sums up what I guessed would happen. Less airflow and no real improvement in the hit. But I think it hits pretty well as-is, personally.

I'm not qualified to answer that regarding solder vs flux, etc, but I've said before that I'm not sure the smell is the plastic and I have personally concluded that the smell is more "electronic" than plastic. So solder / flux would be what I'd vote for in a multiple choice quiz. It literally...

    Iolite vaporiser

That's not exactly a universal thruth. That would imply that I mistreated my first two units, and that's simply not the case. While the first one did experience a rainstorm, it worked fine afterwards. For another three months or so. Then it would not ignite. You could see the spark but no...

When it works, I love it. Use it daily. I have had three now, however. This current one has been solid for many months so maybe they have their act together. The technology absolutely needs refinement in my opinion.

I had wondered if my unit was more the exception than the rule. I now believe these units all smell / taste bad, and any that don't it's simply because the smell / taste is simply being masked by resin. The source of the smell remains.
