    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

I seem to recall reading not long ago . . . I think that's called progress.

I love inlines. I curious though - with that narrower loop-around section (from the bottom to the inline), does that add drag?

I think SM just decided the case size for me, and maybe a lot of us. While a larger case = larger $, how many are going to be able to resist having additional HT's? Come to think of it, maybe all the Pelicans are too small. Maybe I should be looking at Samsonite.

IIRC this was discussed on the previous Cloud thread. SM said that a 1200 model would fit the 'Cloud, an HT, grinder, and meds'. Looks like IAmKrazy's case is about the size of a 1500. The prices range considerably by model and color. The manufacturer's website is pelican-case.com, where the...

Naw, not jealous. More like hate. :) By the way, what are you doing with the cord? @sweetdreams carved out a foam section, looks like you're wrapping the cord up on top of the items? And which model Pelican is that (I like how you've fit in 3 tubes)?

What bubbler did you decide on?

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

This is a really good point. I think that Arizer in having to design a bowl to accommodate both whip and bag, made a compromise on the whip side. A bag is ~8-12 hits, and given extraction efficiency, to fully expend the herb you need to go a second bag. That's fine for the multi-user or...

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

So it appears what you're after is the heavy hits like a SSV or Da Buddha provides. Here's a couple of short threads where the latter is compared to the Q, might get some ideas there. If you do a boolean search on "extreme AND buddha" and "extreme AND ssv" you'll pick up several other threads...

Yea, I think that's why, too.

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

IME this depends entirely on the herb and user technique. Through this thread I don't recall complaints about bad tasting vapor, nor suggestions to pack the cyclone. With the bag, only works well with the cyclone. With the whip, I use both cyclone and elbow, just depends on what I want to do...

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

Maybe this is just a matter of wording, but vaporizers should not produce combustion. I can't remember anyone seeing combustion at 185C. Always somewhere between 230-260C. IIRC Storz & Bickel, and independent reports, put combustion at 228C. But of course, vaporizer temps are not precise; the...

I can't speak for VXC of course, but my understanding is that the HydraCirc is shipping with the next batch of released Clouds, beginning approx end of this week/early next week. These are simply optional replacements for the SGW (the other option being to be put on a waiting list until the SGW...

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

I've got another bowl from a top-mount style unit, but damn I just can't remember the product. It works but tends to get a hot spot in the center, so I don't use it. I would think - but don't hold me to this - that any whip bowl that uses a 18/19mm female fitting and a diameter that's at least...

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

Planetvape.ca has replacement tubing for the Q, looks like it's the stock 5/16"x7/16" polyvinyl. They also sell a medical grade silicone tubing (which most here prefer) in 3/8"x1/2" and 1/4"x3/8", or in other words, a 1/16" smaller and larger (the larger IIRC is equivalent to the SSV tubing...

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

Well, since you put it that way . . . Your first problem is probably that you're using the elbow pack with the bag. The pack is really intended for dense hits off the whip. IME the results are much better using the Cyclone with the bag. But just fyi, the elbow pack should just be...

Revisiting post #388: And SM did indicate that the plan is to have completed QA on the SGW's this week. The gating factor however for ramping to volume will be the assembly process as ref'd above. When contractor labor is used, the process must be refined very precisely and fully documented -...
