Your favourite session vape (stoned feeling)

No battery, but please consider the Roasty. I just spent a delightful late afternoon session in the back yard testing it out, to ensure this recommendation was accurate

I like it very much, thank you. I tend to use the FC-199 with water, and with convection-heavy glass vapes (Terpcicle, Eighteen Millimentre Killer, Smoke Stack) with bigger bowls, that I expect will benefit from heavy cooling and plenty of air conditioning. If I'm using something I think of as...

So, did you? I have zero experience of the VG range, and tbh, a very vague sense of how it might be heated. The instructions are... open to a number of interpretations, and curiously, the video doesn't even show it in use.

Spot on. My happle (op cit) works best with dry sift , and even then, not too soft/oily. Lebanese & Moroccan are perfect. Sweaty afghan/kashmiri gear is nice too, but also harder to work with (I find I use more), and a messier clean up.

Finally managed to get some time with the Green Dream Goblin. I really really like how breezy the intake is, and the size of the thermal battery means I can temp step really really easily. A little bit like the way I prefer to approach the Vapman, except in this case - with a much larger torch...

You can also use M4 steel nuts (not galvanised) or these (or these at 79p each M6 x 8mm O/D x 3mm Length Spacers from GWR) if the originals seem a bit pricey.

My "goodness me, I haven't held such a warm vape since the bad old days of the pax3" moment came after 3 or 4 heat cycles, back to back. And I'm almost certain the lack of a third o ring on the tip is partially to blame for the amount of heat transferred. I really should try with the Revolve...

My Nona stem went through the wash, and dried slightly baggy in the process, alas. (And until this second it never occurred me to just buy a new wooden stem.) Anyway, I've just found an old glass wpa. Peak Dynavap for me so far has been Nonavong tip on a Revolve 2 with a Quartz Cap from TRWW.

So, for the first time, I assembled the helix tip with an armoured cap, on a revolve 2 stem - and I can't believe how hot the stem gets. Appreciate this is not a Mad Heaters thread, but I'm genuinely taken aback at how much heat transfers from this tip/cap combination. Perhaps it's about my...

Trust @Cheebsy on this @Mr Turnip. And fwiw I think your current selection is excellent. My only addition for hash purposes would be something with a basket, maybe like an eighteen millimeter killer or a Piro. Or if you're less of a vape purist, a nice little Combustion device like the happle

I got one of these from RVS and had very patchy experience, mainly due to my ineptitude, and was happy to give it away. Maybe I was trying too little dry sift at too low a temperature, but I'd definitely recommend any of TRWWs TEDs with a glass ball screen. I particularly favour the Quartz Cap...

One of the many joys of the Vapman is its trouserability. Managed to sneak one through security into prison today.

    Butane torch thread

Sounds like they're fencing moody gear, doesn't it? It seems that the more trust people place in AZN (including myself) the less they seem to care about QC, and the dodgy mystery-ware/counterfeit products on their platform. That said, I've been really pleased with both the price and performance...

Depends on the size of your Roasty (there are small and large versions) but the Nameless can easily take .4g and possibly more. I tend to use about half this amount though. I'd post a comparison photo but I'm away from home for a while (and haven't brought either with me)

Distilling the collective wisdom of FC using AI

I wasn't trying to pick a fight - clearly it appears my positions are pretty changeable, so it would be a weirdly tricksy fight in any case - and thank you for flagging the twaddle I was talking. FWIW I was attempting to say that although the idea and history of AI can't be uninvented (like...
