    Western Fly Fishing and Tenkara

You can't go wrong either way, just good therapeutic fun being on the water... My next purchases will be a nice rotary vice for tying flies, and in March I am going to treat myself to a custom reel.

    Heady Glass Appreciation

Nah, nothing will ever be heady about imperfect scientific glass, knockoff designs and nonfunctional slits in percs. It’s all cheap and also arguably shitty… but it is not heady. It is comical to try to put BaioT on the same platform as a Jay Gordon @evolempireglass, Banjo and or other...

    Western Fly Fishing and Tenkara

Tenkara is specialized, and perhaps not as widely used, but honestly I would not overthink it- you will find success and zen any way you roll. There is a beauty to being out of your car and fishing in moments. No sling bags, nor tackle boxes, and having everything you need in a pocket...

    Heady Glass Appreciation

I dunno about that one from BiaoT... sure it has an opal, but the video was not promising. He was able to stack some bubbles with no restriction on the other end, but g'lawd check out that perc. Look closely at the slits in the video- I can see a few slits firing (4-5) but a TON that are not...

    Western Fly Fishing and Tenkara

If I could only have one rod (which is touch as each has a different purpose) it would be 9' rod in a 5 weight. It is sensitive enough to feel a two inch minnow strike, and strong enough to haul in a 30" trout.

    Western Fly Fishing and Tenkara

Sounds awesome! I imagine a backpack from you is going be a bit like a Roentgen/ Craig Thibodeau creation with a number of tricked out secrets! (@ctfinefurniture) Not tenkara specific, but for inspiration... there are a few artisans that Ive come across in the industry, like Luca Braschi...

    Western Fly Fishing and Tenkara

Love this! Tenkara is all about the zen of fishing, and it is one of the most effective ways to catch fish! You don't need a big bag or to pack in a lot of gear- you will need to carry tippet (various sizes for different conditions/fish), hemostats (to assist with adding weights or removing...

    Collecting Ideas of Next Vaporizer

I love ya Vivant, and have several of your products... but IMO this kind of approach sorta rubs me as lazy. It is beyond just crowd sourcing ideas, you literally want someone else to design your next products- even draw them for you? No matter their background, qualifications, etc? Just...

    E-Nano from Epickai

I want nothing more from my Nano- it is PERFECT for any size loads (couch lock to micro)... though I can't help be drawn into the XL. Excited to see the new development, going to be hard to resist once the exotics and burls start dropping!

    MiniVAP Vaporizer

I mentioned it just a few pages back, but I wholeheartedly AGREE! While I am sure there are people out there that are exceptions, I do not recommend MV for "sippers." MV loves airflow, and the heater does not fully engage without long and deep draws [with a good mouth seal].

Rio Portable Dab Rig by Stache Products

I use deep dish rounds from 710coils the most [and have 2], I also have had several Stashe ones but would not recommend them for historically they have had issues with their joints not seating well. I've also got a round from Long Island. LI is my most favored for its welded joints and ease...

Rio Portable Dab Rig by Stache Products

With the amounts of tips I go through (easily $150+ per year, I cannot justify buying special q-tips to accommodate for a cheap $40 banger. If a standard qtip will not work, I am getting a different banger.

    The Toad from Morwood

You would LOVE the whole process, and I'd bet you could fashion quite a spectacular rod! Bamboo is the best material, but often exotics and burls are used on handles and reel seats. Tenkara is minimalist, but also downright efficient way to catch a lot of fish. Having gone back and forth on...

Thank you so much for your advice and guidance, she really is a crafty piece of art! I would have never guessed that button's tension was due to magnets! I am not going to mod, but will keep it in mind for dexterity issues. I am finding my sweet spot for draw is [with high heater] to do a 7-8...

Rio Portable Dab Rig by Stache Products

I prefer the round bottoms, and like the way they re-pool all the oils at the bottom of the cup in-between draws- makes for easy reheats. Regarding your pearls, don't sweat about not spinning them, just give your base a little swirl like a glass of wine to move them around a little bit. I...
