Been using my 3.7v AVA as an oven for my extracts, it functions just as well as my 3.7v dart. Cleans the same way, overfills the same way. It will handle just about anything you care to load into it. Following prior advice against over filling will provide copious clouds of vapor! Enjoy.....

How about a stainless hose clamp, cut to size. Buy the correct width and measure to fit length. Slots in the band should not interfere, and one could probably make a couple "blanks" from 1 hose clamp. Ima tryit and see....
