I like a decent sized bowl personally, especially if you can extract quickly. I don't weigh my loads so for reference I really like my elev8r bowl.

Thanks for the review mate. I think this comes from the variance of the glass. I have 3 stems and the ID of each is quite different, I've not measured them yet though. I can imagine this variance is why some people reported bad fitting. Congrats for being lucky 👍

I personally never use the short stem. I'm a high temp user and if I need a few back to back hits I definitely notice a difference. Basically @florduh it depends on your use style.

I'm pleased you got it going and is working well for you now. You can put a little iso on a kitchen towel to sanitise the stems, much cheaper than a wipe and better for the environment.
