There is always a little char that drops on the cap's clicker @thunderstealer1337 . That is why a harsh clicker at the bottom of the coil should be frowned upon. The remote on the VHB is and always was a welcome addition. I use one on FlatPack out of preference. Often, pulling a cap when you...

    Making Draw Tubes... Flower Quince?

Oh, I forgot that. That's a week plus! Indeed, a battery solution seems a lot simpler even if corded.

    Making Draw Tubes... Flower Quince?

Cool, that's the AC version of the one they failed to ship me. Got a lot of those connectors though. Now I'm curious. Will that pack last you through a day of capping? 2?

@Alexis I suspect you would like the performance of the Apollo better because it is noted to be slower by a few seconds. There are also 2S battery version portables that will be a lot tamer than the JarHead. Although I must say, if you put a JarHead up for sale, I don't know how it would...

Now we're talking simple battery option LOL Which charger are you using? If we don't get rain soon, the season will be gone before it starts.

I know Dynatec is very proud of their soft-actuating switch and they should be. The Alpine 2020 switch is annoyingly tough but there is a thick pad. I have dents in my '18 cap from darting to the ground a few times. Works like a swiss watch. Give me a remote fire button option anytime.

I've done it several ways but the most reliable way is to use a small boring bar on the lathe. I have a chasing tool for when the ID is still curing. Couldn't resist.

I hear good things @whatitdew . It is a 2S device so it will act a lot like your VapHotBox.

Well, it works. Constant voltage work. Good sensitivity on the Const. Voltage pot. Connectors accepted 14 awg wire. I had to reset the other pots to not have a fault light. Not sure how the VV function is suppose to work but I suspect it is suppose to be the voltage cutoff for charging...

    VAS Experts - help needed

I can honestly say my TM VAS was satiated with better DV performance. I got a bit concerned with the TM vape path and decided basic is simple is safe. I can rip on vapcaps all day and don't feel I've put any effort in. Even a gram-a-day can disappear faster than I want it to through a vapcap...

Yesterday was a hard day and the IH showed it. First day over 9w/h of usage. It kept up. The delayed heating of a low battery kicks in when the cells go below 10V. Works very well as an instinctive alarm. This daily usage measure is quite handy. 1/2hr charge in the morning for the analysis...
