I use a small bubbler like yours . I prefer O-rings , I first started with just 1 , then 2 O-rings . I've settled on 3 , with the 3rd/last one being slightly thicker . That helps push the first 2 O-rings deeper and give it a better seal . It works like a charm .

Whether I'm using the PA or not , I always try to turn on my Solo according to the 12 minute clock intervals . ie ; turn it on at 12:00 , it will beep on 12:12 ; 12:24 ; 12:36 . especially with the PA . The PA timer is more accurate than the battery .
