If a simple vent is needed that would be great, but wouldn't it still be venting to the bottom of the unit, which while inverted is acting as the intake?

I'm going to have to use it vertically only while SM and the team look into this issue. My best guess is that when inverted,the intake becomes the exhaust And it is getting hotter in some place than it does otherwise.

I will say I'm pleased that SM is investigating and cares. That was all I wanted. I just want it to be taken very seriously, and it seems like he is going to do that. Let's hope we can all find a happy fix.

I've never had a vaporizer taste as good as the firefly, portable or desktop. The cera is a close second.
