I've been rosining, & it has occurred to me that the denser the bugs, the better the yield. I could be completely wrong there & have no idea what I'm talking about. But I feel as if the more compact the bud itself (before pressing) has more terps & will squeeze more oil.

So as far as yields go... If I get a t shirt press & some micron screens what kind of yield am I looking at?

So your saying tea bags would do the exact same thing as micron screens? & would the tea bags affect the flavor?

What's the best way to tell what temp your water is without a thermometer? Should I heat it until I see steam coming from it? Or let the water set at a cooler temp? Any hastey comments would help. Evap is to start in 30 minutes or so.

I was taught a very very shakey "home special" method. That I have had to tweak from the blasting method to evap as a whole countless amount of times now, I really just hope this perfects it. I appreciate you guys. One love.✌:)

So basically I've been doing everything right except evap?.. I used $2 a can & $10 a can butane. After blast product still remains consistent with the other. But I believe you guys are right, instead of slow evap, I have been scorching the terps with a boiling hot evap. I'm going to try this...

Is winterization nessicary along with filtering, or do I even need to do those due to the sole fact of keeping the terps in?

I really just wish I could extract & keep terps. :( My errl tastes like booboo, but it does the job.

I've tried the rosin & every time that I try it I end up with a brown stuck together substance that used to be my beautiful nug & no yummy too from it lol.
