I own a mini. You could be 7 feet tall and have enough leg room. Of course there isn't much of a back seat. :)

I use 3 cell lipo battery. They are cheap and powerful but you must have a special charger and take care not to over discharge. I fly r/c airplanes so I have them lying around anyways. I buy them from www.hobbyking.com

I tested the liquid pad method. To me it didn't work so good. The pad soaks up quite a bit of heat so vapor isn't produced as fast. It also holds heat once it's hot so vapor is wasted because the bowl stays at vape temp for a bit after you turn the blower off.

I've been over nine miles out and 11,000 feet up but i generally stay much lower and closer to home. There is a lot of money tied up in the airplane so no need pushing it every time. :)
