Yes they'll be fine they're comparable cells.

Do you mean your pictured stem has too much resistance? Try splitting the single cooling unit apart and removing the nuts and washers like I did and the draw resistance is very minimal, at the expense of cooling I would guess. Seems like a good reason to test more .

I doubt you'll have any issues using them for cooling but the composition of soda lime balls can vary and I don't have an infrared thermometer to check what the temp would be by the time it reaches the balls so I can't say for sure. Like you say, I would be more worried about thermal stress...

@BrianTL @jbm One thing is for sure, the draw is much more free flowing now. Another owner removed their nuts and washers earlier in the thread and noted the same thing but that would be at the expense of cooling. I need to test more but it feels good after 2 sessions. My throat is a little raw...

Now THIS is a cooling stem. I separated the cooling unit, removed the screw, nuts, and washers and filled with 4mm borosilicate balls.

This was a wave rider custom named Why, Piggie?! Why? #10 that the shop had ordered in in 2012 according to the paper work! I didn't see the date until now lol. There is a similar one on their Instagram with a different knob and a plain base Yeah looking at their glass I know I'll be buying...

I couldn't resist, it was love at first sight  . I took these quick pics before I cleaned it up. There is so much going on in the artwork, I'm having fun staring at it while I get absolutely wrecked. I immediately did the mod with 2 RBT screens and tried loading in some 4mm balls which...

    Discontinued RBT Splinter (All Versions)

@bossman I forgot to mention, if you want live temps on a DNA mod you need a theme that supports it. I have the pip boy theme for specifically that reason as I watch the temperature climb before I hit it, it's really handy. Yeah i was thinking a Centaurus would end up being the same with a...

Whoops, missed your post. I have only used my ZV1 and US Custom Z on my Lost Vape Paranormal DNA 250C, I haven't tried any other mods... yet ;). For that price I'll have to try one eventually. I've been considering a Lost Vape Centaurus but that's a lot of money that I don't need to spend. The...

    Tetra P80

Lamart is definitely the safer choice as they've been around longer and are easy to contact. Each has small advantages and disadvantages that have been talked about in the AskFC threads. At the very least sign up to be notified of the next drop on Lamart's site and remember they go fast when...

Strange, I've only noticed build up on the negative terminal of my cells where it's directly touching the aluminum cap. ATTENTION USERS WITH REDUCED HEAT ISSUES! Sorry for yelling, see how that got your attention though :D . If anyone is having REDUCED heat output try cleaning the negative...

@Kinick23 If you're using your P80 on demand are you able to hold everything and press the fire button with a single hand?

@Kins The flavour is pretty good at the lower temperatures though I wouldn't say it's the best when you compare to an all glass vapour path, at least for me anyways. It's roughly on par with other heavy hitting convection portables like the Milaana or Splinter Z for example. I actually vaped an...

@bossman @BrianTL When I finish a bowl with the Grav Labs stem it can be pretty warm for sure, much more so than cooling unit included stems but I haven't noticed that during the session. It's that amazing mouthpiece doing a bait and switch on me while it feels so good on my lips. I do notice...

    Discontinued RBT Splinter (All Versions)

I could never put my Z down for too long, it's just one of those devices I have to use sometimes. I babied my RBT gear before but I'm extra careful now because I would be heart broken to lose a device. I hope this is just another bump in the road for RBT and Ryan starts things up again. With...

Check your batteries, specifically the negative end, for build up. A pencil eraser works really well for taking it off and try to clean to the thread and back side of the battery terminal that screws into the device. I'm curious if that could be your issue.

Depends on your personality. If you like having a back up so you always have one clean then sure go for it but I wouldn't say you "need" extras. They're very solid units and the worst thing to worry about would be losing o- rings of which I would get extras. I personally think it's well worth...

Danish Kroner? Is the cost for 1 individual capsule? At first I thought it must not be but that would put the pricing in line with the MistVape caps which makes sense. Agreed @Siebter they look identical. I never ordered the MistVape caps because it didn't sound like they were worth it so I...

I have a DHGate hydratube recycler that I use with the Tinymight occasionally. It works well, the only problem with the larger HT's is they can become a bit unwieldly compared to the small size of the Tinymight. I think you have the right idea with Hydrabase, that should work well.

Has anyone done the ball mod with 4mm balls? I have a bunch headed my way to use in the Elev8r so I'm considering using them on an SSV but I don't have one in hand to measure. There was a forum member on 420vapezone that mentioned 4mm quartz balls I just hadn't seen that size mentioned anywhere...
