I'm curious about this as well. Does it make more sense to leave it in standby if you're taking a couple hits and then not hitting it again for like an hour? This would depend on whether turning it on and off would drain the battery faster, I guess...

That's a DDave cooling stem. You can use it wet or dry. I have one but I don't bust it out too often because it tends to make the vape top-heavy. It does have the advantage of being 19/19 though, so you can use it with any RBT vape.

The way I pack the bowl I don't think tapping would do anything. I do stir every couple hits.
