    Cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome

Everyone reacts differently, and few really know what is in their medicine and what the long term effects of smoking/vaping these fertilizers/toxins/etc really are. Some have allergic reactions (to varying degrees) to cannabis. Many, many others can make themselves blow chunks simply by giving...

C99 and Other Sativa Dominant Hybrids

Love the cindy and sativa doms. Most growers I know avoid sativas and sativa doms because they take up too much room and take so much longer to finish up. C99 is usually a good strain to cross w/ for increased yields. I griega is the Spanish pronunciation of the letter y.

Impurities Found In ALL Canned Butane...Not Good

Never w/ grape alcohol. I know that grape (seed) has medical benefits. I have probably done around 20 bubble bag runs, only achieving 'full melt' maybe 6 times. Yield is always ridiculously low. I've done maybe 4 ice extractions and they were all virtually flavorless. Back in the day...

Impurities Found In ALL Canned Butane...Not Good

I would never tell anyone else how to determine their own health risks, but I am not worried about butane extractions (that I do myself). From the white pages I have read toxicity levels are less of an issue than many other substances encountered daily. For me, I have not seen a good...

    Discontinued Inhalater XP

So, I bit the bullet and ordered my xp last night from kush paradise. I figure if it lives up to expectations, I can claim responsibility for making such a wise decision. If it doesn't, I can just blame those that spoke so highly of it. jk I forget who said it, but the statement about it still...

The Varities of Cannabis & Their Effects

The dispensaries I've visited in my area aren't that impressive. Great strain names, adequately (if) grown. Did pick up a really nicely done Blue Cheese not that long back though. I basically only medicate w/ my own supply, which entails even more requirements. mainly strong genetics and the...

    Ascent Vaporizer by DaVinci

I felt it didn't put out what you put in. I liked the oven capacity, but only if it would have been efficient. I averaged .7 loads. It was going somewhere besides into me. I would also expect to hit it 4-6 x after turning off as it kept cooking and producing vapor.

OK. I guess I am still hung up on the convection issue. W/ all of the great reviews on previous versions' vape quality, I attributed that (maybe mistakenly) to the convection aspect of this vape. imo, the convection was at least partially responsible for achieving 'rich, velvety' hits. While I...

    Ascent Vaporizer by DaVinci

I am pretty confused as to why you would need to take a solo like (milkshake) draw on a wide open unit. Not needing (supposedly) this type of draw was one of the things that initially attracted me to the ascent. I'm w/ sxmokeup on having trouble believing these temp discrepancies are...

oldschool: isn't the sensor in a different location on the unit you are going to receive than on the replacement you last received? This seems to make a pretty significant difference to performance. While I think you are probably right about being able to better utilize the higher temps in the...

Are you using the newest version? Are the reports of wispy hits untrue? Are you having a different experience? I don't really care what the dial # says, just what temp it translates to. Inh has said 125-250 on an 8 digit dial w/ even distribution. That means +18 degrees per bump. at 6, that...

If they had it too figured out, the sensor wouldn't be in a different location every version, would it? It would be more efficient each version, not less, right? When the results of the new location were given by sonics, it seems to me as if there is an issue. When the results of the new...

ok. the sensor is directly on the heating element now. I am not an engineer and I must admit this makes no sense to me. I have never seen any heating application in which the sensor was on the element creating heat as opposed to some item being heated. If this was the case in my home heating...

The biggest design flaw I saw w/ the ascent was the wide open draw, which cooled the bowl and made it tough to get as productive pulls as I would have liked. The ascent didn't heat the incoming air at all and the intake was right on top of the bowl. The result was blasting through material w/...

Thanks inhalator. I also would like to see a temp breakdown of the units whose stickers run from 1 to 8. Here is a good chart listing the temps at which different cannabinoids combust: http://www.weedist.com/2012/07/tailoring-high-compounds-in-cannabis-properties-boiling-points/ There...

I also have been worried about this. This is what I meant when I said that each version seems like a totally different vape. I'm confused as to why the location of the sensor keeps getting changed - especially when it seems as if they already found the sweet spot. With the temperature...

    Various e-cig type Vaporizers

I needed to pick up a concentrate delivery device yesterday and was really limited by what my local head shop had to offer (local=20 miles away). I ended up getting a 710pen for $70. While it may not have been my 1st choice, there are definitely some things I like about it: With the huge 'pen'...

    Ascent Vaporizer by DaVinci

Hey - just wanted to chime in. Davinci issued an rma no problems and refunded my $ within 72 hours. I really do think that they have handled returns w/ a lot of grace. I look forward to doing business w/ them again down the road when issues get ironed out. The offer of replacing working units...

Well, it is what it is but kinda sucks for me. I waited 6 months for the ascent to get to the preorder stage, was on the 1st release list, waited for that to end up returning the unit, now waiting for my refund so that I can wait for an inhalator. The better part of a year w/ no vape. Oh well...
