Here we can discuss the types of strains we all enjoy, favor, love & the ones we have questions about.

Starting off this thread with the strain Mint Cookies (otherwise known as Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookies)


To my knowledge this won the Cannabis cup this year for Best Indica

Crosses are:
Durban Poison x OG Kush x Cherry Kush

Effects:
A wonderful tasting strain for good relaxation
I've personally had this strain more than twice and everytime it was sweet and tasty with A definite reason behind the name Girl Scout Cookies

I've come to the conclusion that I really like Sativa's or Hybrids versus a straight Indica. Indica's are just too stoney for me. I mean, it's not that I get higher with Indica's, its just that the high isn't as enjoyable for me. A salad of Indicas and Sativa's also work well.

So with that being said, some of my favorites are:

White Widow
Super Silver Haze
Super Lemon Haze
Maui Wowie
Durban Poisen

Which brings me to my ?

Who has tried the strain PLUTO
(If you're a medical cannabis patient)
Cowboys Pluto was the original name
This should be interesting. It was a Sativa and was very tasty! One of my top picks :clap:

I know, right? First time I had it was on Maui back in around '78 and still, to this day, it's one of my favorite strains. Last time I had it was about a year ago, and you're right. Feels like home.....

GSC is my favorite day night strain.

I lived on the NORTH SHORE of Oahu 77 - 81.
While the mainlanders were smoking leaf we had Da Kind Flowers:

"MAUI WOWIE" was good then and even better today with HYDROPONICS!

It's always been my dream to live on north shore. Perfectly excluded from a lot of bullshit but not far enough away to miss the luxuries America does have to offer

I'm happy enough, a bit sappy, and I've gotten house things done. Noise in my head is way, way gone.

Ooooo, I have never even heard of those two strains.
I'll have to keep my eye out, it seems sativa dominant for sure.
I tend to lean towards the 70/30 blends so sativa dominant hybrids are my personal favorite!

Have GODS GIFT and love it however this OG pure without further crossing is strong as heck!

This is an upbeat strain
I believe it is created through the crossing of Girl Scout Cookies & Fire OG
The effects
A very pleasant body soothing indica with a splash of the sativa side in there.
Its great for body aches without feeling too indica'd :)

(& by that I mean groggy or lethargic)

You guys are awesome!!1 great to see and read, cant believe that its happening ...the legalization is my only wish Ive had for X-mas for 30 yrs now!!
Those of us that are not in legal states drool over your info/pics!!!! love seeing it and reading about it.We are left to the scraps of those in the trade.Regulation like you peeps have is awesome.I did get some herb once, that with in a day of smoking it got so damn sick with such a nasty headache and lung filled with fluid, threw the crap away,looked good, smelled good, but all that used that herb that day got ill. Blows big time.I think I might have gotten something real earth shattering 1xmaybe 2x where you knew it wasnt the run of the mill green nug.When I find my self staring into space mouth breathing like a 3 finger sloth after 2 rips,I know I hit the mother lode of nug, but not much of that side effect from the bunk we get.Some of it looks bang'n only to taste like leaf,1st gen's with out real grower knowledge....a lot of experiments, that just arent the stuff of what you peeps get.Well I can enjoy trips to those states and hope there wont be restrictions for those visiting but until then I will live thru those who do post the pics and knowledge of the strains and their experiences.It is a much enjoyable read ,with great bits of knowledge about them thanks a lot!!!:rockon:

The dispensaries I've visited in my area aren't that impressive. Great strain names, adequately (if) grown. Did pick up a really nicely done Blue Cheese not that long back though. I basically only medicate w/ my own supply, which entails even more requirements. mainly strong genetics and the ability to be effective w/ prolonged use. Good yield doesn't hurt either, but isn't 1st priority. Strains are all organically grown.

I just finished a batch of Northern Berry. Same as NLB, but w/ dj shorts blueberry. This pheno is all funky Northern Lights w/ hardly any hint of BB.

Next up (& long running favorites):
Star Trek (sensei star x trainwreck)
NYCSD (the grapefruit cross, not orange)
The Purps (mendo strain)

and just added:
Crater Lake (SSH x Huckleberry)

The Purps is the only indica dominant strain. I prefer sativa doms, or at least 40%, but she gets so tasty and colorful. Gotta have one fruity strain. The star trek and nycsd are both super heady, stinky, lose your vape a couple of times a session type strains. This version of the sd is usually everyones instant new fave, but not a great yielder. I've seen the crater lake grown out and just sampled some, so have really high hopes for this one. I seem to like strains that have a little (maybe 20-40%) afghani in them also. Can't stand couch lock stuff, I like feeling energetic and motivated.

It smells like perfume bud? I hope that makes sense

Queen Dream

I personally am impressed with Queen Dream
Its a purple kind of feel with the blue dream aspect I believe.

A sativa sided purple
That looks green
