I feel your pain. My decision process stalled on that same question. Finally, I said the hell with it and went Ti. Right decision? Beats the hell out of me but the die is cast...

    The Grasshopper

Now that I'm in, I think my attention has gotten a bit more focused. Sorry if I missed it but must you use their charger or can you also throw the battery into a nitecore? If you must use their charger, do you also need the pen? If so, extra batteries seem a little less meaningful.

    The Grasshopper

I was just minding my own business, reading the Crafty and Vapman threads. Had no desire to spend more money. Had no need for another vape (Crafty, Vapman, Persei, MFLB). Kept seeing these references to the grasshopper and ignored them. Now that I've read some of this thread and checked out the...

Certainly can't argue with your well reasoned opinion. For those of us on the low end of the usage curve, the Crafty kicks ass.

Amen, brutha. It's probably a sign of enjoying too many beers but a 6 or 7 % beer might as well be milk. Having said that, I'm all for a low alcohol beer that is über tasty. Recently tried a new wheat beer. Where I'm from, Oberon reigns supreme. Now that it's mass produced, I find it boring...

I find that the puck makes everything more harsh. Might be great for concentrates but, in my opinion, the puck offers nothing to flower. Zero coughing since yanking the puck out of commish.

Leffe and Westmalle are nice. Here is a good domestic. http://www.deschutesbrewery.com/brew/not-the-stoic Malty with a hint of sweetness but not cloyingly sweet. Very smooth. Could be an ass-kicker if you're not paying attention.

I will heat the first few draws for 7-8 seconds, then take a 10 second draw. I then start ramping down to 6 seconds of heat, then 5. Can kill a bowl with dark brown ABV in 8-10 draws. I'm sure some of the folks here can kill a bowl in 3-4 draws. If 5-4-4 is blasts of flame between hits, with a...

Love Burton Baton. Had it on draft for the first time today and it was everything I hoped for.

I use the Crafty for insomnia. Works great for quick hits.

I highly recommend the torch that comes with the Vapman. This is a member of our little group but I can't tell you any M0j0 than that. There are some nice charred Vapmen too. http://www.ebay.com/sch/1nf1n1ty_ent/m.html?item=131439473740&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2562

Was able to hit Bell's tonight. The plan was to see how much better Jupiter is on tap as compared to the bottle. Unfortunately, the two versions are very close. We were disappointed that the freshly tapped brought nothing else to the table. BUT... They also had Hopslam in a frickin' firkin...

Good choice, at least in comparison to the MFLB. I haven't used the Air. I would think the safest approach with others would be to heat for them and then quickly pass it to them. Don't let the great unwashed masses take an untrained torch to your VM!

Sorry, I just can't get past the fact that you've started thinking! Was there more to the post after that? I agree with you and I'm slightly amazed that I also just switched to a safety razor. Disposables be damned!

Here is an odd one: http://buy.rogue.com/rogue-sriracha-hot-stout-beer/ Not bad but not a repeat buy. I think it would be great to slow cook a pork shoulder in. The heat level is pretty good but very little of the malt flavor gets through the sriracha.

The picture thing for Untappd drives my wife nuts. No one in the pubs seem to care.

Not as good as Mars but next best. The next planet has arrived. Nicely malty and balanced but maybe too smooth. http://bellsbeer.com/planets/jupiter/
