Looks interesting... and Welcome! How would you say this compares to other products in the space? Dynavap, Thermal Accumulator, Anvil, Dani etc. Also what is the approximate size of the bowl?

Ok, I hope this is the case. I know that not everyone who used the add-a-cap from Dynavap had an issue.

I've always wanted to try an all-glass "dynavap" compatible product but was scared away by the add-a-cap product that Dynavap launched with complaints of glass chipping from the clicking cap. Do you know how PTGlass products solved this problem?

I've never used the wand until the timeout you've mentioned. Do you just set it to autofire (dbl click) at any temp and let it go until it stops?

That's my experience too. Not that on-demand mode is bad but I just find the extra conduction from a session mode makes the overall experience better. It's also nice not to have to hold down any buttons. I like filling the bowl with little hand-torn nuggs, no packing. I start at 363F then...

Sorry for all the noob glass questions (just getting into glass) but if I bought a 19mm elev8 sherlock glass pipe and added a 16mm titanium screen (happen to have these on hand) do you think it might work well? Not sure how far down the bowl the screen would go and if the flower would be close...

Hmmm ok. Thanks for the input! It's not my first rodeo with convection so I'm a bit tempted to try a cheaper pipe. I saw some glass and ceramic pipes in this thread that looked nice. Do you have a favorite? It's hard to consider a 100+$ pipe after already spending 200+ dollars for the Neo...

I agree. Don't think the heater in the TM is powerful enough. There's a case to be made for the arizer heaters though bc they do in fact heat glass stems via conduction but the glass they heat is in direct contact with the flower. Not so in the case of the vaponic, so likely those heaters...

Ah nuts...ok. I think the Eleaf was loaded with AF as well so thought it could work.

So on a related note I'm thinking of getting the Prrl Labs Neo (link) which uses a modded Eleaf unit for heating. Would I be able to also use the heater with the BAKx?

Yup, totally does use some inert alloy that heats up the zirconia tip. Definitely in the vapor path. Not a problem for me but maybe not clean enough for some? Don't remember the alloy.

OG Air or OG Solo? I have the OG Solo but still have to find it 🤔. Also wouldn't this type of heating heat the tip of the glass tube which isn't ideal? What do you think of the Prrl Neo? I'm starting to read the thread now.
