On DaVinci's own site, they still have images up of the older styles. :)
But I'm fairly certain the three designs are fixed at this late point for initial release.
Additionally, remember the Rep *did* say that they were looking at more designs and customization in the future...
Zero offense, gent.
Without getting into the whole convection vs conduction (and this is not really for you Pak, but others reading this) very few things are 100% either way. I guess you could have conduction in a vacuum... ;)
I had initially imagined that there was some...
Pak -- All of that info was collected by going back through this thread several times for all of the Rep's posts. Of course what she said at the time, might have been changed by now.
But it is my understanding that a second button press on the front is required to turn the unit on to prevent...
There are two buttons, to prevent accidentally turning it on. The other is in the front.
Additionally, the rep mentioned a master power button under the grill, but that could be old data and replaced by the one in the mouth piece.
As has been mentioned, those photos are not current.
:) No worries. That's what it's there for.
I'm updating it every time there is more information, so it is as current as the info we have. (unless I missed something... I'm only human, of flesh and blood I'm made)
:D
EDIT: If anyone sees something I missed or is not correct. please PM me...
You are correct, or at least it is not being sold as such. This has been discussed in more depth in this thread.
Please see the wiki page but real wood didn't fare well with the temp changes, and the croc is faux.
Please see the wiki page as there are three models. "Stealth" is all black...
Thanks Shrike.
The other possible thoughts I had were either "introductory special discount pricing" or a means for all of the initial pre-order people to add the item to a shopping cart that wasn't designed to accept a price of Zero (and the price would jump after the pre-sales close).
But...
Sorry, the U-water tool adaptor is the one Adobewan designed, right? Or am I reading it wrong? I notice on their site there is a placeholder "Image coming soon" graphic for it (so I can't identify if this is Adobewan's). As it is for oil, I presume this is the case.
That being said, could the...
Uh... it's called wholesale. It's a known thing.
That and existing distribution channels and distribution agreements. Fulfillment will go through existing agreement first, and those have been negotiated for a while.
Also, if you dump units on the market at wholesale to the public, you...
I have serious doubts that an as-of-yet-released product with this much pent up demand will be a candidate for any bulk purchasing for quite some time yet.
Simply put, if they have 100 units (made up numbers) for the first batch, and 150 people willing to pay full MSRP, why on Earth would they...
Hmmm... Oddly compeled to watch "Treasure of the Sierra Madre" right now.
BRB 126min...
Badges?!?
EDIT: 126 min later. (Okay... more like 140 with breaks.) That was awesome.
Didn't ask what your total post count was. I asked if 100% of them (not including this discussion) were spamming the same video to this thread, previously deleted or not.
So "was removed earlier" does indeed mean spamming the same video again, despite the previous removal??? Unclear as to why...
Yes. This.
EDIT:
Uh... forgive me if I get this wrong, but don't 100% of your posts contain the same video?
The video was deleted from the first post, but can other users confirm this was same user?
Not only does it have temp control, it has PROGRAMABLE temp control. See here for more info.
As others have indicated, environmental and user variables can affect the actual temp, but hopefully the sensor provides enough feedback to the heating elements to keep variation within a narrow range.
Didn't say it was a law. "legal reasons" != "a law"
The rep said it was for insurance and liability reasons. I've updated the wiki to reflect this clarification.
The running speculation is that they didn't go from replaceable to "locked down like Fort Knox", and that the batteries are most...
