One of the issues we've run into, is that you never know with customs. Some times a lot will just sail through, and the next time an identical lot will stall out for an undetermined period of time. It's a crap-shoot.

I've dealt with manufacturing in China. I'm not surprised. EDIT: Additionally quite a few companies will ship straight from the factory to the end customer. I've watched things like laptops get stuck in customs by just paying attention to the tracking number.
