I've noticed that my click is quiet if there's anything touching the disks. So that might be a possible reason why you're not hearing your click very well.

My Omni has arrived and it really improves the experience of using the vapcap out of my water pieces. While I've only had one session with the piece it is already evident that I will be heating more towards the middle of the cap for better taste and more heat cycles. I'll have more to say once I...

Gotcha. I'd go a bit thicker for safety. I'd hate to see a beautiful piece like that broken. It might be really cool if you were to cut the spiral then cast it in resin so you could see the spiral and tube. That would be a lot of work though and could end up as a sticky mess/ waste of time.

That Walnut looks pretty but very fragile as well with the way the grain is. "Handle with care"?

People commenting on the M stem heating up during use reminded me that my SS core stems also heat up during condenser free use. It's nothing to be alarmed about, but it can get warm. I notice it most when I use my slim stem.

When you're loading it make sure you don't over load it, it doesn't seem to like when you throw a big nug in the chamber. It's best to break up the material into 5/8" pieces and load it so half the teeth are covered. It produces a surprisingly fluffy grind for how fine it is.

It has never gotten stuck for me. The GR8TR is the smoothest, easiest to turn and lowest maintenance grinder I've ever used. I've had mine for months and it still hasn't needed any cleaning.

Where are you heating for your first and second heat cycles? If you're heating near the base of the cap for the first, then repeating for the second time, you'll be likely to combust. I find that the second heat cycle needs heat in the middle or cheating slightly to the top side of middle to...

There's no need to avoid the back and forth way of heating in my experience. I've been heating my cap that way since the beginning and it works perfectly fine. It reminds me of the difference between Italian glass blowers and American glass blowers. Italians flip flop their glass while working...

@od1 The fine grind from the GR8TR vape is slightly too fine. I would recommend the coarse plate if you get the GR8TR.

A vape with the power to punch you in the face like a bong?

I know I already explained it in the Vapcap thread to you but the Vapcap has the exact same vapour production profile as a bong rip. Thick vapour immediately pours out of the Vapcap and takes maybe 30 seconds longer than using your bong and smoking a bowl.

The M lacks any adjustments that a user can make, it's a One trick pony, Jack of all trades, etc, you get the idea. The CCD in the tip has one setting and there is no third X-ring groove on the condenser tube. The main reason for the additional X-ring is to allow for spinning mouth pieces and...

I assume you mean airflow when the carb is closed? I find that both my Ti tips are very restrictive but provide extremely dense vapour to make up for it. I think the VapCap needs a certain amount of restriction in order for it to work properly. If the airflow was too fast it might not have time...

This is my exact method for my 4th gen Ti tip and single jet lighter. I get about 85% extraction from the first heat cycle and whispy vapour on the second. If I want to really extract the whole load in one shot I'll start my draw on my bong for 3 seconds, then start to torch each side of the...

It's been my experience that turning a grinder upside down is a sure way to get weed into places where it shouldn't be. My Space case won't tolerate any grinding whilst upside down or it's immediately sticky and hard to turn.

Does anyone else save their sugar leaves for grinding then sift for a whole bunch of kief? I can't stand the taste of leaves but I find that grinding them fine and using my space case as sifter gets me some okay-ish kief out of a pile of stuff I wouldn't have vaped.

Perhaps it's the vapour profile that they're attracted to, I know that that's the big selling point for me. The way the vapcap produces vapour is unique and different than what a continuously heated vape offers. There's also a huge stealth factor that makes it look far less like the user is...
