I like the idea of a whip. I use the longer stem (whip) with the davinci an it's so much more comfortable. A table dock with a longer whip would be awesome! even though I don't do oils (yet), I think I will opt for the U shaped adapter...

That and refreshing this thread... although I'm also rationalizing that it will be well worth the wait, besides I have my trusty DaVinci to use as I wait.. I see the ascent as the Jaguar to my Mini cooper... he he... I'll be using one or the other depending on my mood and occasion.

I looked at the Cera, and I'm sorry but the prices are ridiculous, no charger or battery included etc.. The Davinci has been excellent so much that I will certainly be picking up the Ascent for the full retail price as soon as it's released. and considering the digital technology in it I think...

Why not release it without packaging for us FC members, so we can start the reviews and spreading the news of this cool new product?

About the finish or the seal, I would have thought the same issues exist with the original Davinci and so far it's held up incredibly well. so I would expect the same or better form the Ascent.

I guess that's where the GOG adapter mentioned earlier comes in... just wondering how it would work, I guess i would get attached to the glass mouth piece on the ascent?

Uhm, i believe the did or will be lowering the price on the davinci... Also not being glass... It might be more sturdy if you tend to drop. Things....

Adobewan, if its like the Davinci, you need have it in the on position to charge... Then the battery indicator keeps "flashing" until its done charging. Also I believe you'll be able to use it if plugged in as well... So if its not turned on, it might not even be charging at all... Not sure...
