I have not ordered yet, but as a current owner of the original DV. I have faith that Davinci will make it right for those that got the defects.... After all the original DV is very impressive in the quality of the build and long term performance. I expect nothing less than that from the ascent...

As someone already asked, does anyone have one without any of the mentioned "defects" . And has anybody heard back from DV about these issues?

Regarding the adaptor what is the most common size thst would fit various glass pieces 14mm or 18mm? Also, I'm wondering if the wood burl pattern is the same on all of them or if they vary, would love to see some pics...

It's great that all you are waiting for your units BUT davinci, what about the ones that were not able to preorder, either because the specific model (burl wood) was not available or because of the customs fiasco? When is the ordering going to be reopened? For all 3 models? Please don't...

SO I'm still waiting for some sort of idea on when DV will open for new pre-orders in particular for the burl wood. I'm set on getting that one in particular.... Now this is more frustrating seeing them ship but no info on when new orders will be open!

Hey DV, now that the ball is rolling, can you let us know when the next shipments are supposed to go through and clear customs? I missed out on the first wave because there were no Wood Burl available so I would like a 2nd chance to get one as soon as they are available to order. I waited...

Yes Davinci, more communication on your part would go a long way to restoring the reputation you guys had for excellent customer service... and also build up the excitement for the eventual release of your flagship product that we are waiting for so patiently.

Well at least I got my refund from EZVapes on my credit statement... Still no word from DV... uhm it's gotten eerily quiet around here..

ARGH back to square one... I had pre-ordered from EZVAPES and guess what they already charged my card on 7/23... i chatted with them and asked them for a full refund. WTF? Davinci and EZVapes charging our credit cards as soon as the order goes in? I'm so turned off by the whole thing I guess...
