If it's not your new strain, make sure you boil the thermocore, cap, and mouthpiece. I've started boiling those pieces every 2-3 days and certainly notice increased performance afterwards.

When you get this, please do a comparison with EQ elbow hits.

Actually, the Solo utilizes conduction and convection for vaporization.

Take the end of a sharpee marker and use that to mold a screen into a dome shape. It will now fit in the stem.

You should contact Arizer as that is not normal. I just opened my M103 and my M105 and both are not showing any signs of plastic melting since the plastic is not in contact with areas that get uncomfortably hot. I ran a couple of cycles with the cover off and feel very safe using my Solos.

I just boiled the cap and thermocore. It really does make a difference in performance when the thermocore is clean. I was able to get a few great pulls that didn't even seem hot on my throat, but HUGE clouds and great sour d taste. I''d recommend boiling these two parts after about 10 bowls...

I think you would be quite happy with the SOLO. Don't worry about the glass. It can withstand small drops. When I'm out, I usually just wrap the stem in a paper towel, but an eyeglass case would make a nice protective case. I like both the Solo and TV. I wouldn't give up either and think...
