The Pax I found to be much smoother than smoking, but now that I have been using the Evo it's night and day. I haven't used the Evo dry, so I can't compare it completely. The Pax is definetly for "on the go" and the Evo for home use (other than the tub, of course!) I get a much more enjoyable...
