    Discontinued Pinnacle Pro

That's strange: It's not an error code, my first thought would be that the LED burnt out (the LED's are Red-Green-Blue so green and blue can burn out and only leave red working) But that is usually not an intermittent thing. Is it back to working normally?

    Discontinued Pinnacle Pro

Not calling anyone an idiot. Simply that we, here, have not been able to duplicate the results that your getting. This is both on bench top testing and pilot testing of the PRO. Until I get some of the returns back to evaluate them, I can only comment on what I have been able to do in house. I...

    Discontinued Pinnacle Pro

    1) Yep, it's the weld - no cause for concern 2) That's an alignment washer that is, ironically, miss aligned. You must have gotten one of the first run units because I actually removed that part from production units right after release (Due to this exact situation). It serves as much use as an...

    Discontinued Pinnacle Pro

That is correct, we made a mold change to the regular MP to increase the wall thickness near the screen, as we had some issues with screen fit that needed to be resolved. We did not do the change to the PONG as the screen fitment is a different design. Any of the design will work, but you only...

    Discontinued Pinnacle Pro

Thanks for the feedback. We are looking into the cause - I have some theories, but won't share them until we get a bit more information. Looking to the forum as a whole for feedback here: Has anyone experienced the above with the regular mouthpiece?

the PES is 15% heavier than PC. In theory land (CAD) the PONG should weigh 5.05 grams without the screen, so a PES part should weigh 5.8 grams. Of course there will be a bit of variation from part to part.

    Discontinued Pinnacle Pro

There have been a few iterations to the mouthpieces, we switched from producing the clear pieces a while ago (though there is still some inventory of the clear pieces working thru distribution). That was mostly an aesthetic change - tinted pieces simply look better. When we did the PRO we...

    Discontinued Pinnacle Pro

The screen is pushed down to keep the bullet from rattling as much, otherwise it makes no difference. As far as the PONG goes, the units that are melting seem to be PC instead of PES. It's possible that the wrong piece got put in your box, contact TRVB to get a proper replacement.

    Discontinued Pinnacle Pro

I would not recommend using the clear PONG on the PRO unit. You can, and it will work OK - but past level 2 you may see the PONG get a little soft as the temperature goes above PC's glass transition temperature. The Pong provided with the PRO is made of PES, which is a much higher temperature...

    Discontinued Pinnacle Pro

1: I know this is not the easiest thing to get back in - also the reason we don't offer the screen as a standalone replacement. Best suggestion is to first pop all the edged into the inside of the lip and then gently press the whole thing. 2: nothing to worry about with the scratching, except...

Due to popular demand : We are going to be rolling out a bullet holder for Both the PN and Pro! Stay tuned for more details!

Should not be an issue, I think most inverters will supply the ~12W that the Pro requires

    Discontinued Pinnacle Pro

Search thru the pinnacle thread, some members have found a battery pack that can be plugged into the pro. This sill allow for recharge/external battery use. Quick not one the calibration settings: we have the settings flashed permanently into non-volatile memory when we program, however due to...

    Discontinued Pinnacle Pro

Since this has been asked so many times: We do NOT recommend you remove the battery from the unit. It was not intended for user replacement and removal of the electronics from the Pinnacle or Pinnacle PRO's housing will void your warranty! That said, with your background you can probably...

    Discontinued Pinnacle Pro

That's the right charger... Your unit is still working properly, right? There are 2 failure modes for what I think your describing: 1) an incorrect input voltage, your using the right charger, so unless the charger is bad (unlikely) that's not your issue. The unit is eventually recharging...

Just a quick sanity check - can you look at your charger and tell me what the output states on the sticker? it should be 5V 3A

    Discontinued Pinnacle Pro

Are the red lights scrolling towards the heater or away from the heater? does this happen every time you plug it in, and only when it's plugged in? How many sessions has the unit been through before it got plugged in? I am looking into the issue.

    Discontinued Pinnacle Pro

Battery mileage is going to vary greatly depending on use. If you are using at level 1 or 2 you will get results similar to the Pinnacle, which is around 1hr of continuous run time. We are using more sophisticated battery management, so we can squeeze a bit more out of the battery life than the...

    Discontinued Pinnacle Pro

Note for everyone on the original charge, since I know everyone has that Christmas day feeling when they receive their units: While the PRO does need to get a full charge, like the PN to condition the battery - you can feel free to use it while on the charger immediately.
