I use it upside down on a water piece 99% of the time. Mrs.arb uses the glass direct draw a lot and has had no issues with it.

The Alpha is wide open like a life saber. Not anything like a normal dog or Woodscents both of which are restrictive.

I like a larger beaker for kicking back on the couch. Mrs.arb likes a small single perc bent neck piece. I also like it dry with a few different pieces it seems to pair well with most so far. Let us know which one you like best.

When I over stuff a glass jar trapping air under the glob of goo it will indeed rise up and push the lid off with stiff rosin. Looser rosin when I overstuffed the jar tends to look like your bubbly batch if I jar it warm and it cools/thickens trapping das air bubblage.

Maybe get out of the skinny jeans and wear some grown up pants or shorts? 😜
