That's the gist of it. If you use it with a nail or banger it's basically just an airpath. Using a concentrate pad uses the design of the Brick itself to vaporize the concentrate. This gives multiple hits from the same amount of material, resulting in more of a session experience.

I believe walnut is supposed to have the strongest wood flavor. My OG Brick is walnut, the wood flavor faded quite a bit but it took a few weeks at least. Now it is very subtle and noticeable mostly at the end of the bowl. If your torch is set too low it can cause more wood flavor sometimes...

@Kasish: If you're burning the tip that hot I would remove the o-rings first just to be safe. I'm not sure they would be able to withstand such high heat.

You should be able to buy the 18mm right angle adapter direct from Sticky Brick Labs along with the whip tubing. I got a similar adapter with my Hydro add-on for the OG Brick. I ordered 14mm but 18mm is an option.
