If used purely for sleeping issues i'd maybe look into edibles first,personally a nice cannacookie,-cupcake or -muffin will be far more likely to make me fall asleep on the couch as vaporising. Apart from that you're probably better off with more 'indica-like ' strains than 'sativalike'...

Before i got the oil accessory to the Verdamper(and before getting a Dr. Dabber) i used to put my BHO/AHO on top of some weed in the Verdamperbowl,worked like a charm.:) Usually i held a little light next to it,because i loved to see it vaporising/bubbling away.
