I think your talking about 2 different things now. The high pitched whine coming from the ceramic heater is a reasonably well documented issue. Trichomefox is talking about a sound coming from the power supply - that's a different issue I'm not familiar with.

If your set on getting the gn0me I wouldn't bother with the Vapbong but go for the MF imo. The gn0me and Vapbong are too similar in function, so the MFLB will give you more variety. Plus you just can't beat the MF for stealth imo.

I don't think you have to be that cautious. Just hold from the bottom of the stem and be firm and steady.
