Thanks! I was thinking of using coconut oil after the water cure but I might try some straight flour, too. Thanks. Water curing works through osmosis. I'm sure washing away some of the nasty toasted bits helps but that's not really a water cure.

I use an old nut grinder. I remember using it to grind nuts for Christmas cookies with my mom when I was a kid. It gives a nice shred to my flowers. I've given away all my other grinders. Generic picture but mine looks like this.

How much ABV did you start your water cure with? I've got a couple mason jars nearly full and I'm thinking about starting soon. Thanks.
