Fluxer Heaters, induction heaters for Dynavap

Agree, the batteries were a major part of my decision to go with the FD over the PSM.

    Dynavap VapCap

This IH was mentioned twice about a week ago, not in a good way.

But it took being called out in public for him to make it right. Poor customer service.

    Dynavap VapCap

Agree, thanks for the update, @Squiby. The 19M looks pretty cool. I can see how the new design will make the carb much easier to find and manipulate. I prefer my carbs blocked, though, so not really useful for me. The air channels on the 19M tip look wider and deeper, more like the Ti tips, vs...

    Dynavap VapCap

Wow, lots of great info being shared today. Customer service is a major factor in my book so I appreciate all the reviews. Thanks! I'll add a recommendation for @mr_cfromcali and his Flux Deluxe IH. I love mine. There's a bit of a waiting list but in the long run it's well worth the time IMHO.

Isn't Spannabis going on right now? That might be slowing down customer service from DV.

    Water curing AVB

Thanks, Squiby. That's what I assumed but I've read that some folks decarb, too.

    Water curing AVB

I water cured a couple mason jars of AVB for a week, it's sitting in a mesh colander drying out now. I'm planning on 24 hours in my crock pot with some coconut oil. It's the first time I've used AVB--do I need to decarb it? 220*F in the oven for 30 minutes or is that unnecessary? Thanks.

Agree, the basic or deluxe (if you need a torch) Dynakit is a great backup. I like having a few spare parts around, just in case. I love my Flux Deluxe IH. I've never used a PSM but it's been around awhile and has tons of great reviews. You really can't go wrong either way. And I like to break...

Fluxer Heaters, induction heaters for Dynavap

Thanks, mr_c, #027 is working great. No issues, we love it. But I love wood and I've got to admit, a 15mm coil in a cherry box is calling to me. Umm...how long is that waiting list? Dang!

Are the MOSFETS only failing with the 14mm coils?

Love it! Wish that was an option when I got mine.

Fluxer Heaters, induction heaters for Dynavap

Woohoo! What did you choose? I broke out my lighters a few days ago. I still enjoy it but the FD is so much easier and consistent.

14mm coil, LG HG2 batteries (2 sets), two of us using our FD. When we first got it we ran the batteries until they died, about a day and a half. Now I change them daily. I always charge them with my Nitecore charger, I've never used the included charging cord nor the battery checker. mr_c said...

Nice review @mario! I agree with your remarks on the 14mm coil being super easy to use. I was trying to say that a couple pages back but you did a much better job of explaining it. Thanks!

No problems with dip-n-sip. I frequently finish my bowls that way. Just a quick dip is all you need.
