Keep in mind that glass holds heat and hot air rises.. as such I've found that my various straw setups do lend to a slight cooking of the herb(very slight) leading to some vapor escaping, at least until the glass is suitably cooled. It's marginal if, unlike me, you don't/can't/won't hit that...

My unit isn't powering properly when I switch on in the correct manner. Aka dual button press and hold. Instead it instantly sits solid on whatever colour it was last on and does the same when clicking through the temps. Functions perfectly when I power it up with the twist. I'll need to try it...

How are you mating the adaptor to the cap?.. And I take it that isn't the flexicone + coming up through it but some tubing attached at the top. OD seems off in the picture.

Metal liner works a treat.. Taste definitely takes a hit but vapor production is ramped, as I feel is extraction. more testing needed.

This was indeed the case with my first two units. Third and current MV was a little more bothersome. When I get home I'm gonna try my metal chamber liner!! Can't wait!! Edit: It's heating right now. Didn't trust putting the little ring way down there though. Left the Teflon one where it was.
