Hey @dzoinp did you make that stem cap yourself? It looks like a drilled out cork to me, can you provide any details? This is exactly the type of thing that I like on my stems but I mainly use silicone caps, what you have looks way nicer to me and I would love to hear more about it. Cheers.

This beauty arrived this afternoon just in time for 4:20. It feels so nice in the hand, with a fine balance of smooth/textured surfaces. I'm a few bowls in with it now and it's hard to take a nice picture with a potato for a camera but here goes...

I'm not sure I understand this right but it sure looks nice. Do you pack the stem and use this like a cap to contain the load? or does this little guy get loaded like a dosing capsule?

I must admit that I have been babying the stem. It gets used almost daily but stored out of sunlight in a protective tube after every session, and it gets oiled regularly. I am really looking forward to the RBT adapter and the gentlemen's basic stem is going to look amazing on my Splinter...

Just wanted to show off my purpleheart RBT stem from KGW. I have had it for roughly 10 months now and I absolutely love it. It holds S&B dosing caps but I tend to just pack the stem lately.

Can you please tell me what type of wood that is in the first one with the blue wrapper? The grain pattern is beautiful, I'm going to take a stab and say something like olive wood? I am trying to keep track of what I have an idea when it is time for me to choose materials. Thanks.
