I think that a wireless charging pad is a great idea, but I don’t think it is good for the life of the lipo battery pack. I am pretty sure they don’t like to have the charge topped off, and for best performance they should be drained to ~35-40% before charging. I am basing this on RC lipo...

Just wanted to chime in and say that I leave my ball in place all the time on the VB. Only the first 1/4” of the ball side that touches the heater is ever too hot to handle comfortably. The rest if the ball is just nice and warm, which is lovely on these old hands.

I broke it up in to little pieces about the size of uncooked rice and placed it right on the screen by itself. After a few hits I crumbled it a bit and kept going. It did not make much of a mess of the screen. The flavour was very bright, I highly recommend trying it. Oh and I was at 10.6v

I tried some black hash in the VapBong a couple nights ago and what a treat that was. I had forgotten how much I liked hash, the flavour out of the VB was fantastic and I kept getting hit after hit. If you haven’t tried it yet, I highly recommend giving it a toot.

Are the jack pods supposed to be a snug fit in the V3 wood stem? On the unit I received they are very loose and will not stay in at all.

I have not noticed any changes in the insert, I have been doing it this way for just shy of 2 years. If it was a nicer material I might reconsider, but for a $10 insert I’m willing to risk it.

I like doing the drop tech style with inserts and then after the dab, while it is still hot, I drop the insert directly in to a tub of iso and it practically cleans itself. I use quartz inserts because I can’t afford anything nicer, but I love hearing about the saphire and ruby inserts.

Iso on a q-tip, hold the Caldron upside down to keep iso from running inside, and swab away at the glass.

I preload the Ti bucket and it’s a good first hit, a mediocre 2nd hit, and a reclaimy taste for the third hit. So I guess I am saying that preloading works fine, but the taste diminishes rapidly. The Ti bucket is easy to clean up a day later if you leave it though.
