I think a twist lock is the way to go

Using the dimpled tube for a while and haven't had to clean it out yet. The cooling is so good I haven't even been interested in swapping to the ruby. Is it's cooling actually much better? because your workflow sounds like a total drag, man.

Have you tried the hard reset? Press both buttons simultaneously, 5 times quickly. It takes a few tries to get it right, but once you get it, the puck won't turn on at all until you plug it in. I guess in your case it will be hard to tell. Maybe try to trigger the reset while it's plugged in...
