The differences are likely in the new models, regardless of color. The difference is the silver came in later, so with silver you know you're getting a newer model but with black it could be new or old, depending on how old your supplier's stock is. Pity they don't make the versions obvious...

That's what I'd assume too, but it's hard to do a side-by-side comparison where you draw at the exact same rate with the holes open as you would with most of them closed (need a way to judge actual flow rate accurately). There is one other factor at play though: more restriction lowers the...

Great comparison! I also find the V3 Pro annoyingly noisy! My take is that the noise is most likely caused by the tiny holes in the bottom of the oven. Covering intake holes blocks some of that noise. The noise can also be reduced by holding the vape with your hand wrapped around the holes, but...

I suspect you'll waste a lot of money on tooling for a 19mm WPA, only to sell a hand full to enthusiasts who don't have 19-14mm adapters or are too stubborn to use them. As far as airflow is concerned, the V3 Pro's constriction is enough that no one could truly tell the difference between 14mm...

Just a suggestion, but: Do you think it's possible that wedging a piece of tape in there to hold the magnet in could have put more pressure on the mouthpiece and cracked it? Not that that makes the failure ok, the magnet shouldn't have come out in the first place.

That is doubtful since they use a Kanthal coil, which is not temperature control compatible. They most likely have an actual temperature sensor above the coil. @MostWasted Did you try it with the intake holes mostly covered like some users have done?
