Since the time I signed up @ Vestratto.com (end of October 2021) I’ve received 7 email updates from John…in addition to multiple emails documenting the order and shipment of my Founders Edition Anvil…quite “regular” and “timely” from my perspective :2c:

I think so, but I’d await confirmation from someone who has made the WE top nut work with a wedged screen and the baller diffuser. When I received my B1 top nut, the screen was already installed. Personally, I’d be a bit worried about a lap full of molten rubies if the screen were to slip, but...

The B1 top nut has a groove machined to hold the screen securely. The WE nut doesn’t. You can make this work (I’ve been told), but you’ll want to make sure your top screen is wedged in there pretty well…

I think the first 25 units were affected. I didn’t receive an email, but knew I was in this batch given my shipment date. It simply opens up airflow, allowing for larger hits.

Received an updated utility tube and airflow valve today. Both increase the already stellar appeal and performance of my founders’ edition Anvil :tup:

You can use both sides of that magnet...or at least I can. So I remove the hot herb chamber from the Anvil using one side of the magnet, while the other herb chamber stays in its "compartment" on the other side. One tip. I found using gravity to my advantage helps with unscrewing and screwing...

As someone who has already crossed the line, I agree; the herb chamber stays surprisingly clean ; ) It's the condenser and its associated screen that gets mostly mucked up. 'twas easy enough to pop the screen out with some q-tips and get the anvil all clean to like new. Let the line riding...

The anvil is great. The draw is a bit tight, but I’m order #1025 and should be getting a reworked airflow valve…I think = ) I am only a few pulls in, yet very happy with my purchase. I’ve a few suggestions for improvement brewing, but need more time with the device. https://streamable.com/e/v02k33

Nothing wrong…the first batch of utility tubes were drilled out too short. Mine is the same way. @Vestratto informed us of this a few pages back…though easily buried in the excitement! New ones are being made and sent our way this week.

Woo! Order #1025 landed today…presumably one of the last units with the included aluminum cases cut a bit too short I am happy with the quality on the device itself. I will report back at some point in the main thread regarding performance.
