I'm liking the AlN so much I decided to give Fadespace's SiC another go-round. Having to take the AlN out of the Peak to torch clean it back to brand new isn't ideal. It never tastes reclaim-y, but it's impossible to get it back to looking new using just the heat generated by the Peak itself...

Rebuilt Puffco Peak v2 atomizer using Puffcoil Repair kit. Includes opaque, fitted, thin bottom Eternal Quartz insert ($115 retail) and the stock bowl. The Quartz insert is 9.5/10 condition. Virtually like new, aside from obvious heat marks on bottom outside. SOLD Thanks for looking!

Those spiral, mesh heaters are pretty much proven to be effective convection heaters due to iheat/timber/lilbud.

I don't see anywhere they state that all batteries are bad? They are just telling people not to use them as a way to cover their ass, if the batteries did actually have anything to do with it... Not sure why everyone is turning against them when it seems this wasn't really in their control...
