Are you using a regular or armoured cap? I have my adapter set so the bottom is slightly proud of the red ring at the bottom. Sitting there heats the tempest perfectly for me. While I'm not using it much, I have used my Dynavap and armoured cap with the tempest adapter in the same position...

When I'm indoors I've been using mine on 300c-310c, I find anything higher starts to get risky depending on how hard you draw on it. I'm at 305c most of the time. I was using 320c to start with, but on the auto shut off it it was getting close to the line for me and the taste was a bit off...

I gave mine a soak in ISO, then a good rinse in hot water, dry off and use. I actually took my cap completely apart as I wanted to see what everything inside was like. But you can just soak the cap as a complete unit.

Cleaned up and gave the different sleeves a go. Running the titanium sleeves etc at the moment, but going to start using the woods after the next clean.

Yeah just give it a good rinse to make sure cleaners are gone. Not sure about your glass clear but ISO rinses away easy enough.

I read in previous comments that Imgur isn't recommended or can't be used here, but a lot of recent photos I've seen are from Imgur so I created an account there, just trying to upload some photos to the tempest page. Can I use Imgur so I don't need to sign up to another photo hosting site?

Oddly enough I've been swapping and changing my helix's this evening and my favourite is the gen 2. Feels a bit more airy and I really like it. I stopped using the filters so I might just remove the filter tabs.
