About that backend self cleaning contact: it has 3 raised notches. Those are what actually make contact on the negative end of the battery. So instead of the flat disc were used to there are now 3 tiny points of contact on there. I'm not sure how this will clean the contact, but maybe it's...

just a heads up: the IO has gold-plated threads. I wouldn't use a tartar scraper on it, but the problem of conduction dirt doesn't seem to be an issue because of the gold, so, carry on :tup:

whenever my OG backend would get hot I did the blutack cleaning method with consistent results. My guess is that reduced conductivity from that black dust in the threads results in the heat. And sometimes a bit of electrical arc may cause the heat too. But when my of backend starts to get...

Love my io already. The difference in airflow between the og and io is remarkable, no matter which front end you use. The og with pfe is harder to pull on than the io with stock front end. Instant on is amazing. Gotta wait to see how reliable this hopper is over time, but I'm very pleased...

I don't know how, but I still have around 4 good batteries. I admit I don't use my hopper daily anymore, but I did for around a year. Rotating batts must really be the key. Each of these four good ones only carries 25% of my total use. (I have like 8 more in storage that I'll test, but IIRC...
