    What were your 4/20 acquisitions?

3 Sticky Brick Juniors (cherry, padauk, and canarywood).

    Sticky Brick Labs Vaporizer

I tried the Junior intake straight on rather than at 45 degrees and I prefer it. I can finally see exactly where the flame is. The perspective was off when I was looking through the side of the glass at 45 degrees and aiming was a challenge.

@My_50p_worth Also, think about how you need to store your vapes etc. Can you keep them out in the open, do you have to be stealth. Turn a Junior around and it just looks like a block of wood. I don't really have to be stealth these days but old habits die hard.

    New 4/20 Experiences

Well, I never used butane vapes before and ended up buying three Sticky Brick Juniors over the last week or so. Very happy with what is to me a new way of vaping.

    Sticky Brick Labs Vaporizer

Took advantage of the last days of 420 sales to pick up another Junior, this time in Canary, which is sold out in most places right now. I guess I'm collecting Juniors now. I'll post a pic of the Junior family once this one arrives.

I use the pods exclusively and find that I have to pack them tight and make sure the pearl goes against the pod. In other words, there's no rattle from the pod if you shake the IQ2. I start on Smart Path 3 and then move on to Smart Path 4. You should see a fair amount of vapor with Smart Path 4...

    Trying to understand "battery power"

I have 4 of those purple Davinci batteries and haven't had any issues. Having said that, the IQ2 can be a little finicky depending on pack. I use the dosage pods too and find packing them hard and then making sure the pearl is turned enough to go against the pod helps. In other words, if you...

    Sticky Brick Labs Vaporizer

I've been thinking about this actually. I bought 2 Junior's last week. One came with the stainless steel ring in the hole under the intake and the other has the newer design without the ring. The ring definitely makes the bottom seem more solidly connected and compared to the one without. I...

    Sticky Brick Labs Vaporizer

Well, after a few days of good learnings, I combusted. Cleaned and aired it out. Used the awl on a Swiss Army knife to gently scrape away at some char in the bowl. I'm learning when to back the flame off depending on the warmth of the vapor. I get good vapor even when I'm not feeling the air...

@PutOneInTheAir I got a couple of Juniors last week and the magnets are strong.

How do you guys get the screen out?

    Sticky Brick Labs Vaporizer

The cherry Junior arrived yesterday. I have a Padauk Junior coming next week and will post a pic of both. It's going to take a bit to get the hang of this but I'm on my way. I've a few bowls already to work on technique but that's way more than I typically do. I discovered after the first bowl...

I got a box of 200 screens from Amazon for $5.99.

    Sticky Brick Labs Vaporizer

Well I went in a weird direction and bought another Junior, this time in Padauk. I also bought a Runt stem to use with it when I can. I like the form factor of the Junior, in particular, the lid. I need the stealthiness for storage, even in the house. Took advantage of the 420 sales to get extra...

    Sticky Brick Labs Vaporizer

Good points. I don't do glass, water etc. It's more that it has a top (sort of); but yeah not sure if it's the way to go in the absence of glass.

    Sticky Brick Labs Vaporizer

I haven't even received my first Sticky Brick, the Junior, and I'm already thinking about the next one. I like the idea of the Maxx only because I like that you can close it up, so to speak, like the Junior. But I mean it looks huge. I'm thinking the most logical next one to try would be the Runt.

Thanks for the video links @Texus @NYC_Frank . I've watched a bunch already but always interesting to see the techniques. And thank you @coolbreeze for all the wood info. Looking forward to the Junior!

    Sticky Brick Labs Vaporizer

This is one brand I just haven't paid attention to as I've had zero interest in using butane. But with 420 sales and getting annoyed with batteries I looked into these and have a Junior (in cherry) on the way. Looking forward to it. Not concerned about the learning curve at all; can't be anymore...

    DaVinci IQC

I have the IQ2 and the IQC and they work similar, although the IQC is easier to clean and stays cleaner for some reason. The air dial on the IQ2 makes a difference. I use the dosage pods packed pretty tight. I can get good clouds at higher temps and very dark AVB. Tastes like crap at that point...
