IO IO it’s off to RMA I go........this is getting fucking ridiculous. Hopper IO number 3 is starting to act up and not power on as well as going into low power mode with a fresh battery. Before anyone asks, yes, they are fresh batteries from the most recent batch.

I used to be that guy. Now I have a who gives a fuck what others think attitude. And then there is the part about the chances of anyone actually seeing you use the Hopper and it being a quarrel with yourself.

When you whirl and have it deep in your mouth for that long I can see how things could get too hot to handle.

They say “just the tip” but it works better when you put more in your mouth. You can control the direction of what comes out so it doesn’t hit you in the back of the throat. Less irritation that way. 🙄😉

I know. And it could lead to an issue. If Hoppers are no more what would I replace it with? Nothing compares. I would wander aimlessly around the vape market like a junkie looking for that first buzz until another experimental DopeGun(TM) is developed from alien spaceship propulsion technology.

Just a reminder folks.....the IO is still a Grasshopper. Keep the back end threads super clean or it will start acting up. Hot back end, low power lights with a full cell, etc.

Seems like the same issues I have had. It will quit altogether eventually. Tell Hopper. They will send you a new one.

I am really glad that real guns are much more reliable than a Dope Gun(TM). My newest IO vapes great but the damned button still fucks up now and then. This is number three. The first one quit heating completely and the second would turn on and off whenever it felt like it. Let’s see how long...

At home the Magic Flight Orbiter seems perfect with a Hopper. On the go I usually turn the temp down a bit and use it native but if you can find it an old W9tech Nibbler AC bubbler works perfect with a couple O rings on the PFE.

Sounds like maybe your batteries are weak? My IO only goes it low power mode after a few bowls. Never from hitting it too hard. It keeps up no matter how hard I hit it until the bowl is done.

Does anyone else notice the “low power mode” seems to be the exact same as the OG Hoppers? Low battery means flashy lights and done. No more hits.

Mine has burnt me too. I pay very close attention to where I hold it. The OG nibbled. These fuckers just plain chomp.

After a little messing around it seems the IO avb on 5 is pretty similar to the OG Ti “Frankenhopper” I have assembled in order to have one good working Hopper on 3.5.

Yup. Doesn’t turn off, doesn’t turn on, bites really hard when itnturns itself on and fingers are over holes, avb is tan, nowhere near as dark as my OG. serial HT000067

Wish my IO Dope Gun would quit misfiring.......
