Excellent point. I think most 'guys' sell the ability for the heat to 'soak' through the glass. It takes time, of course, but the heat is being pressed in 'from all sides'. This is why you can 'overrun' the vape, have the temperature in the load drop too far and need a 'heat soak' to recover...
