Exactly like that and with a large flame. I have a Dremel Versatip that's very precise: I put it on its highest setting. How fast: fairly fast, I don't know. I do make sure not to linger too long on the section around the vent holes.

I include the bit with the lettering and the small section of copper just below that. Vapor more subtle somehow and a bit faster hitting perhaps? Not sure about that last bit, may well be my perception only. But definitely even a bit smoother still and a bit more terpy. Also clicks a little bit...

I also use the Wand and then I emulate this by pre-heating.

I used the Anvil + integrated stem and XL everything natively too, so, it may well be my mileage that varies here. And yes, the smoothness surprised me too.

I use the Tornado on the OG Anvil stem: no cooling necessary IMO, but of course, this may be different for you. A dedicated Tornado stem would be great though, and a stem adapter.

I started torching the Tornado along the length of the device instead of staying in one spot middle of the oven. Quite a difference. I think this is the thinking behind the Forge: using so much power that it can heat the entire device evenly in seconds.

I use a magnet to unscrew the oven. I prepare a nugget beforehand so I can drop it in quickly, I screw it back in with the magnet and unscrew it a tiny bit, also with the magnet. The heat does fall off so I often need 5 seconds heat up with the Wand. I think I'm hovering around the click this...

I was looking for a way to minimize direct heating of the device when it is loaded. One way is to heat one cycle without load, but with the oven screwed in. Remove the oven after 1st click and drop in a nugget (I use victorinox tweezers). Then heat until "second" click, no more than 5 seconds...

To me it's like Tornado is the Pokemon evolution of Anvil

Very true. I haven't gone back to the Anvil since I got the Tornado. It's a shame Tornado is only WPA compatible at the moment, although people are literally hacking Anvil stuff, so maybe a couple of good adapters and stems are not far off. I like native use best, same for Tornado

I've had it for 3 weeks now, I think the honeymoon would be over. One thing I discovered: I had to unlearn some of my Anvil technique. I've started torching Tornado with a long flame, heating along the entire length of the device. Maybe give it some time? Reason I started micro dosing: if I vape...

You can bet I'm not too thrilled about being obliged to send back my Forge brick if you simply swap it for new. So that I understand: WE are obliged to send back our faulty unit so YOU will have it available to you to sell on refurbished "with a gift"? Tornado is brilliant. But engineering and...

    Quick Vestratto Forge induction heater

Totally. I'm on the old iSpire Wand now and it functions fine. Also bought Milwaukee batteries for a considerable sum, bc they're exotic here in Europe. And then John's email: "the test unit was fine". Yeah, should have done sample testing of your production units then. I do respect the -shall...

    Quick Vestratto Forge induction heater

So what's the news? I finally got hold of the milwaukee batteries: Forge recognized my Tornado for a split second, now goes into "waiting for the load". So what do I do from the Netherlands? Send it back? Send an email to John? Wait for a reply? My Tornado doesn't have a screen, the Forge was...

The Anvil is very good for micro-dosing. Tornado is even better for that. Reducing material gives great results.

Old stem + friction valve fits better, just sayin'. I tried/ Not true. Tornado is very flavourful right up until combustion. You never tried either the Anvil or the Tornado, so I don't know what to tell you

I'm convinced the lip on the bowl has a function together with the little holes in the device/oven.

With a stem, the Tornado is too long for it and the head is too wide for the cap. I agree with @Knewt : if they get to work on a good accessories range, this thing will take off.
