What do you do with your ABV when out of the house?

I use the same container that I use when in the house. It is a repurposed medicine container that has a sewing needle hot glued to the cap. The needle works great for picking the bowl clean and folds safely into the container when the cap is closed.

@3rdtimetrying - Thanks for posting the photo. Glad it arrived safely and you are getting the hang of it. Hope you are able to obtain a suitable voltage controller. So nice to know the voltage at all times. @little maggie - Here is a photo of the different basket screens I make. LtR 12mm for...

Help me find a heater for my log

I once made a special SS heater cover for a client that wanted to use an e-nano ceramic heater in a Heat Island wood body. He said the unit had the best properties from the Heat Island and the e-nano. A real frankenvape. @jardri - I recommend using a small uninsulated butt splice to connect the...

    Dynavap VapCap

That is very cool to know that VC tips fit into HI/UD tubes/stems with the 5/16" SS tips.

@RastaBuddhaTao - Thank you for the kind words. Glad you like how the unit turned out. I have been using it more than any vaporizer available to me. Maybe it is the Venturi effect of the inlet air going through a smaller orifice so that it can expand and provide a uniform air flow through the...

@FUCKCOMBUSTION88 - Glad to hear you are happy with your purchase. I am also so happy about discovering vaporizers. It is a much cleaner way to medicate. The flavor can really be enjoyed. I have been using a wooden tube quite a bit lately. The hole is large enough that I can use the blade of a...

@KeroZen - I believe that the limits of the voltage converter are being pushed with the heater. It was a lucky coincidence that the voltage controller has just enough capacity, but not too much to cause damage. It only requires some minor modifications. Having replaceable components does make it...

@KeroZen - Thanks so much for the time to respond with your concerns. The manufacturers of the voltage controller must have anticipated that the output leads would get shorted, so they designed it so that it wouldn’t fail. The voltage display just goes to zero with a hard short. No harm done and...

Thanks @P.A.M. , @Lookatmeglow , @Shit Snacks , @Crussell27 The heating seems to be pretty much the same as the Milaana. The two screen method helps distribute the heat for more even roasting. I don't generally find it necessary to stir. Longer 18mm male glass fittings will fit into it since...

@RastaBuddhaTao - Thanks again for the opportunity to work with you on this project. Your high surface area heater technology seems to be the future for on-demand convection vaporizers. I don't have a Mi-Log specific waiting list. My plan is to offer it as an option to those that are on my HI...

    Other names for vapor/vaping

I like to refer to it as "roasting" rather than vaporizing since the vapor is produced from roasting the herb. "Getting Roasted" might be a way to refer to medicating.

    Discontinued MistVape Touch

The new screens look good Dave. The press is a great way to make them. Glad you are enjoying the two screen method. Here is my Touch stem with a silicone sleeve on the mouthpiece end which allows it to fit snugly into the 5/8" hole in the wood. My 8.5mm basket screens fit nicely into the...

The voltage controller will be slightly warm to the touch when operating. Push the left button until a "1" is displayed. If it displays "off", push the right button to turn it back on. Adjust the knob until you get to your desired voltage. Then push and hold the left button for more than 2...

    Discontinued MistVape Touch

Glad to see you are enjoying the two screen method. Great way to keep the heater screen clean. I purchase 3/8" diameter ss screens which have a bit of a raised edge and then hammer them flat until they are about 10mm in diameter. This allows them to fit snugly into the 10mm hole. The hammering...

Thanks. I'm hoping the positions will allow the unit to still fit back into its original box. Will try the bock position for the next box. Wish there was enough room to put all the cords on the back. The output jacks pretty much have to go on the left side. Glad you like it. The pennies were...

I do indeed like round plugs since they can be held securely in place with a nut. Panel mounting is also important for the model of voltage controller I am currently using. All of the necessary parts arrived so I could put together a cord set to test out the banana style sockets. I'm using...

The waiting list for the bamboo units is much shorter. Please send me an email and I will let you know when I will have one available. I plan to install some HSA heaters from RBT into HI bodies after I get the power cord/plug connections finalized. The roasting tubes are 18mm which hold more...

Thanks. It is a privelage to work with the high surface area heater technology from @RastaBuddhaTao to help create a plug-in version.
