@El Duderino no worries! It is a bit confusing and I had to ask a couple of questions before purchasing :tup:

If you get the kit, it includes the adapters for the Vulcan bowl (14 & 18). Those can also be used with the head for injector vs diffuser method. You’ll need a second PID only if you put a coil on that bowl. PIC

I don’t have one, but get the notion that the TM2 might be close to what you’re after. I’d really like to try one sometime & ditch the cart ;)

I just let mine warm up for an extra 5 min at normal temp since it was just the housing that was new 🤷

I don’t take mine out & about & works fine just at home :brow::peace:

If you mean you’re taking the first hit just a little after two minutes from when you turn on the coil, then yes. Those gems are still trying to warm up to equilibrium well after the PID shows temp reached. I like at least 8 minutes with this head. Yea, keep bumping up by 5 until you like the...

@HaggisHunter that sucks!:rant: If you can get some balls and a 1/2 in screen, could hold ya over. Trick is not bending it too much and getting it past the first set of threads. Seems pretty secure and how the TA balls are held.

@Choker don’t be afraid to pull pretty hard with it either. Especially if your setup is open and not very restrictive. It likes s good workout 🏋️ :lol:

Just cleaned my long overdue bowl and set one in. I’ll also use the brush or a metal rod that’s a little smaller. But through the bottom. That holds the one side of the screen that’s set in the groove. Then with a free finger (hand holding bowl), push on it from the top to get it snug/started...

Went with an after dinner all glass setup :p Nice & open with a coarse grind. Bunch of great pulls with one stir in the middle of it. Think I’d pull the trigger this time if ya bring it back :brow:

Good call ;) Noticeably thicker and more conduction added. A bit similar effect as a coiled bowl, to an extent, imo. Another YT VID starts at the end of a 1 minute pre-soak with this method.

My updated housing came in and it's really nice. Seems like a better build and fits my coil more snug. Not much difference in airflow as others have mentioned as I tried it on a familiar setup with the OG bowl. Couple of unexpected prototype bowls were in the package too!! :o Only have tried...

Thanks for mentioning :tup: Just tried this mixture and got multiple dense pulls on a rig without much harshness. I closed the airflow down a bit since I have 3.5 zirc .. but may not need to next time :science:

Similar here. I count the “stroke” of the flame (from up to down), as 1 second, while turning on all these glass heaters.

It’s a bucket that Delta3 made to test on some smaller injector bowls. Pic HERE. Used pliers to cinch it down then cut the top off for low profile ;) Just happens to fit this nicely. @hotmeals I’ve been using the QC mini recently too and it’s phenomenal :o
