I was under a different impression based on the instruction manual for the DotLeaf. I could very well be wrong as the verbiage could be construed either way. Here is what the manual says though... "During the session, press and hold the fire button for a 15*C boost to your set temperature."...

Gone from where? It looks like www.dotleafofficial.com still has them in stock. Just checked the website and there's no indication of them being out of inventory. Though, I checked the US site, so maybe that's why? Not sure if theres a difference in stores

Ive heard from someone else that if you pack it too tightly, it can combust. I myself havent experienced that, but I always just lightly tamp it (using just the weight of the dab tool that comes with it.) I have also had a tank crack, but they said that it should not affect performance, so I...

You know, the one that I have came from a very old Arctic Fox tank from 2014, but I know there are still some on fasttech.com. https://www.fasttech.com/products/0/10012998/2189602-brass-pom-hybrid-510-drip-tip...

Its next to impossible to combust with the Dotleaf. You can even use it on temp 4 in boost mode, 15° additional, and it won't combust. I live on temp 4 lol. That said, I did combust once, but that was my own fault. I stopped it mid thermal cycle while in heat up, and it screwed things up until I...

I think as long as it is coming from the official DotMod EU, you should probably be fine. If it's from a retailer, your guess is as good as mine. Personally, with the variables in play here, I would probably recommend buying it from the official DotMod store I guess the gasket is a thicker...

They just sent me out the new updated tank and gasket yesterday! I've heard from a friend who had the same issue, and already received his replacements, that the updated gasket and lid design change are way better than the original design, so I'm very excited!

That's one of the things I talked to them about, because mine ripped too. As annoying as it is, it does not affect performance, and was only designed that way to insure a perfect seal, which they found out later in testing, that it didn't need. If you reach out to them and let them know, they...

@darco Here's a side by side size comparison of the Dotleaf bowl vs the ArGo bowl. Its quite a bit larger! It also extracts much more evenly with less effort/stirring. The Dotleaf will run circles around the ArGo without even trying. The ArGo is more of an extended relaxed session vape, and the...

I just measured the chamber of the DotLeaf, and the ceramic chamber has a 9.75mm Inner Diameter. It sounds like the IQ spacers might be a bit too big in this case. Good lookin out though!!

Interesting! My guess is that the gunpowder smell was from machining oils used to prevent it from rusting. The oil that I used is the same oil that I use for wood (I didn't have anything else), so it doesn't smell like anything in particular...at least that I've noticed. We shall see as time...

So, I've been wanting a Damascus stem for a long time now, but finding one is darn near impossible! So, I decided to take matters into my own hands, and make my own! I designed this in my usual signature style to go along with my other wood stems! I thought I would share the process with you...

That is something that I have spoken to them about, along with a dedicated pod for concentrates as well. They seem to be very receptive about the idea of various pods, and even hinted that there might already be a few things in the works :)

With the chamber being made of ceramic, I wouldn't suggest using metal in it as a reducer. Concentrate pads could potentially work though, or even just a small ball of hemp fiber. I'll have to play around with that and see how it works. Honestly, cleaning is one thing I haven't had to do yet...

Depending on the packing technique, it can be wide open or slightly restricted. You dont have to hard pack it like the Pax, so air flows at a decent pace. It's very comfortable to use. The air path goes directly from the oven to the mouthpiece, so the air path is very isolated. The outside of...

Everything is the same from a physical perspective, but it does have a different chipset that is not compatible with the DotAIO. The tanks/ovens are also very different. Physical similarities aside, they are very different devices. Its smaller than the TinyMight! Here's a side by side next to...

The drip tip and oven really are the only things to clean. I haven't had to clean mine yet, other than the oven lid, which was easy enough with an iso swab. Overall though, its been great!
