I know theres a rule here about not mentioning other products in product threads, but I would really appreciate to hear some comparisons so I just put this thread up for owners who want to do comparisons - https://fuckcombustion.com/threads/cosmic-xtractor-510-comparison.52009/

    Cosmic Xtractor 510 Comparison

Very curious in hearing comparisons for this device vs others. People who've used a CX and other 510s, what are your thoughts?

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00S8Q4T0A they’re 2 liter bottles before they’re inflated. not all stems fit in them but it makes cleaning a million times easier and use way less iso. just cap and shake. making it less annoying to clean will get new people to use it

he’s got extra batteries and external charger? i’d also spring for some of those ‘bottle preforms’ for cleaning

occasionally, I build them out, and they dont work. something shifts or comes loose inside in the final assembly. the chechen and a blue mahoe with glass didnt make it this time. I really liked the look on this one :( - hopefully I can get them fixed but there will definitely be more chechen in...

ty. i may be over thinking it but my main concern with being a commercial account is there’s a rule about being 100% positive in threads for other products. this is a side project for me, it will never become full time and i do not want to lose the ability to criticize other products - i...

    Discontinued RBT Splinter (All Versions)

@NimChimpsky this is an interesting idea - what if they had a boost mode like a crafty or something… 2 clicks to fire then if you click and hold again it will run a bit hotter and temp step

    Discontinued RBT Splinter (All Versions)

@vapviking do you think the unregulated aspect was part of them sitting unused? I don't want to go too offtopic and you don't have to name anything specific - but the ones you're lusting after instead, they have temp control I presume? I've bought, tried, and sold everything out there but the...

    Discontinued RBT Splinter (All Versions)

well for context, i read ‘or you could use it the way it meant to be used’ implied that anyone using TCR was using it incorrectly or wrong and i was curious if there was a technical reason a person shouldn’t use TCR but it is just a personal preference and that’s ok. i don’t agree with the...

    Discontinued RBT Splinter (All Versions)

ok but this is like trying to argue automatic vs manual transmission. everyone has their preferences, i’ve explained why TCR is superior in a technical sense i just don’t think that you can claim the device should only be used a certain way when so many other people (everyone else?) are having...

    Discontinued RBT Splinter (All Versions)

he may feel they’re unreliable but i think as a community we’ve found optimal values that work extremely well and consistent with no damage to the devices. if that’s not better than i don’t know what is. it’s brain dead simple to tap the fire button twice and have it spit out clouds without...

    Discontinued RBT Splinter (All Versions)

can you elaborate on this? TCR mode is clearly better and i always had the impression wattage was the only official supported mode to cut down on customer service requests and repair issues because improper TCR settings are basically the only way to kill the atty
