Having had the Camouflet, Anvil, Dynavap, original TA and Tempest, I'd personally suggest Thermacore Anvil with XL mouthpiece. Consistently wins reach test, tho Tempest and TAs are great for less powerful hits (which can be done on Anvil but I can get myself in trouble if I don't pay attention)...

Anvils take a lot of energy, so I'd worry about almost any metal stem with it. But can't say I'm familiar with using Simrell for anything but DVs. Or their great dabbing stem.

My first thought too. It or the Roffu, a slightly fancier version that can sometimes be found for close to the same price. Looks very close to a nicotine vape, also nice for discreetness. I don't know what pricing is like on Firewood vapes these days, but that is another nice compact option.

I recommend a bowl with notches to hold in the screen or a design where the screen is otherwise held into place well. And yes distance from flower matters. Herborizer has that pretty perfected in their own bowls. Vgoodies XL is pretty close to that
