Do you open it by hand usually? Seems like residue burnt onto it from your fingers Yes

The glass cup is in too deep, try it about 2mm higher. At 290C that can be the only issue that I can think of unless if there are no balls in the cap. The cap is also mostly titanium, there's only 2.5g of steel of the 12g total head weight. You can reduce it by about 3g with using glass balls...

Yes the parts are final in design but not all of them are finished with the manufacturing. The new magnetic parts are very hard to machine, harder than titanium so it takes a long time, but they’re almost done afaik. Leather case and box is also in progress, but I’m confident those will be ready...

Will be ready when the Tempest pre-order starts There's another 5-day holiday in China until Monday :( I'm not sure when it's going to be ready; the timeframe that the manufacturer gives me is usually very inaccurate. It should be ready soon, but it's out of my hands now.

Unfortunately I'd have to order too many of them to get a new batch and I likely couldn't sell more than 5-10% of it. I have some left for emergencies, please leave a note with the order if you'd like to get more.

No, it will be available as soon as it arrives and goes through QC. Likely sometime next month

That definitely looks way off unfortunately. The outer end is about 8mm shorter than it should be (which is a lot) and makes the install harder as well. I can't imagine how it happened unless it was working similarly before? Where did you stop earlier? Did you torch it directly? It shouldn't be...

Can you take out the coil again and send a picture of it please? It looks fine installed

The Tempest by Mad Heaters & Phatpiggie

Yes, as the threads are nearing the end it'll get tighter so you can lock it in place. It won't bend unless you force it, you'll know when to stop, it can be tightened properly. Yes it will be adjusted ofc.

    Revolve Gen 2 vs Tempest

It just goes through there, I'm shipping from the UK. The DPD tracking might be late with the updates, there's a link to the parcels app tracking in the shipping email which is usually more up to date. Not too many problems so far, not worse than Royal Mail that I used before. Any better...

The plan was to go from 0.2 to 0.25, but I’ve realised there’s a more secure option with the current screen, so I might cancel it…:ko: I always installed the screen to hold the balls in place so they don’t rattle. However, if you screw it slightly further after removing 1 or 2 balls, it will...

I've ordered the thicker ball screens for the release, hopefully it won't delay things much.

Not initially, but both will be available later. I'd recommend cubic zirconia stones in 3mm size Tempest cleaning box should be available again soon

The purple will come with a matching indicator, the black would be too hard to see.

All the last parts are being made now, it should be finished in a few weeks. I'll probably want a VI that's moving a bit quicker near the end and a thicker ball screen depending on more feedback. You have to pinch it when it's off from the cap :D It shouldn't deform back and stay in place then

It’s better to print with a wider nozzle in this case, but using thinner layers. I'm currently printing it with PP; it took some time to get it to stick. I don't think I can print them in batches though, so I'm looking for another, cheaper alternative.

Some of them are leaking unfortunately as soon as I want to make more than a few at once, which is not ideal. I'm working on a way to make them consistently and also considering changing the material to polypropylene.
